MY HAIR STYLES FOR THE PAST TWO WEEKS

I just want to share what I have been doing with my hair recently.

I am now 1 year 6 months post relaxer, and the itch to cut the scraggly relaxed ends is stronger than ever.

Anywho here is what I did the past two weeks.

First Week:

Flat twists with my DIY flaxseed Gel to stretch my hair out.

Yes I know, my BF called it secondary school hair
I wore this Monday-Thursday to stretch out my hair. On thursday night I put in bantu knots with my DIY flaxseed Gel and my hair morphed into a bantu knot out updo on Friday 16th August was my birthday.

Bantu knot out updo

Now the itch to cut my relaxed ends came on saturday, but was sooo busy and kept my hair in a high bun.

Sunday comes and I decide why dont I put in mini twists my new growth is long enough.

So Thats what I have been rocking in different updos and here is the updo for today

All my hair no extensions added

To maintain this style, I spritz my scalp and hair lightly with my conditioner and water mix and massage my oil mix on my hair and scalp.

Plan to keep the twists in for three weeks ***fingers crossed***

  1. OMG! FINALLY!!! One can post comments. Since last year, there was no icon to post comments n there was no way to inform u, no email, no nada. Even wen u were lamenting that nobody reads ur blog or comments my heart was going out to u cos I didnt knw how to inform u dat it's bcos u dont have a 'post a comment' icon.

So I added ur blog as a shortcut on d homescreen of my fone and from time to time I visited your blog hoping things have changed and u've started blogging again. U can't imagine my excitement wen I noticed u had started blogging again, I was just jumping and shouting in my house. Alas there still wasn't any 'post a comment' button. I had to become ur follower (which is somtin I neva do on blogs or watnots, I like to be silent/in d background) if dat will enable me post comments but it didn't work. However, this morning I refreshed ur page again, read ur post n scrolled down n voila I saw d button. I am soooo happy that I have to comment.

This is to encourage u, I have been reading and rooting for u since last yr. Imagine keeping a non productive blog on ur homescreen and visiting d blog. I called it non productive cos u weren't blogging, I cld have assumed u stopped blogging but I refused to think dat way dats how much I love ur blog n was rooting for u. Your blog is very informative and detailed even tho u dont cater to relaxed hair anymore, I still learn somtin.

Keep up d good work and know that even if I don't comment am here in d background. Big hug dear...

p.s sorry for d long comment.
