My Hair Care Regimen

STEP 1: Prepoo and Finger Detangle
Saturate my hair and scalp with my oil mix and lightly finger detangle
I no longer prepoo since I found out that I am low porosity, Instead I mist my hair with water and conditioner before I take down


STEP 2:Wash and Deep Condition

04/10/2013 update: Wash hair with hot water at once(I do not wash in sections)

My cleanser of choice:
*Giovanni Tea Tree Triple treat Shampoo
For Cowash I use; 
*Giovanni Tea Tree Triple treat Conditioner

Deep Conditioners:
a)Giovanni 50:50 Hydrating Calming Conditioner mixed with oils
b)Giovanni Smooth as Silk Deeper Moisture Conditioner  mixed with oils
c)Coconut milk, yoghurt, honey and oils
d)Avocado, Banana and oils


04/10/2013 update:  when using A, b, and c place deep treatment mix bowl in a bowl of hot water. Apply warm to hair, wear conditioning cap, sit under hooded dryer for 30 mins -1 hr.

Detangle with my Curl Detangler brush. Magic detangler: ) will write a post on this brush later.



STEP 3: Detangle with conditioner and comb under running water 
When using treatments a and b, I apply in sections and 
If I use treatments c and d, I apply my detangling conditioner after rinsing out the treatment, let it sit for 10 mins and then detangle.
Detangling Conditioners:
a) Tressemme Naturals Nourishing Moisture Conditioner(Old formula)
b) Tressemme Naturals Vibrantly Smooth Conditioner(Old formula)



STEP 4:  I wrap my hair with a tee shirt to partial dry follow up with a leave-in conditioner on damp hair.
Leave-in (s) of choice:
Giovanni Direct Leave in Conditioner

STEP 5: Next I seal my hair with my oil mix
My Oil Mix includes:
*100% Grape Seed Oil 
* Sweet Almond oil
* Coconut Oil
* Olive Oil
* Lavendar and Tea tree Oil

STEP 6:Seal lightly with my shea butter mix, concentrating on my ends.

Peppermint Oil 

****Want to infuse the following Herbs into my oil mix
Amla
Brahmi
Bhringraj
Neem
Henna.

****Want to add the following oils to my shea butter mix(need it smelling delicious)
Citrus reticulata blanco var. tangerina (Tangerine)
Citrus sinensis (Sweet Orange)
Vanilla planifolia (Vanilla)
Cananga odorata (Ylang Ylang)
Jasminum grandiflorum (Jasmine)
Santalum album (Sandalwood)
Litsea cubeba (May Chang)
Thuja plicata (Cedar Leaf)
